I finally had enough time to update! Three news layouts posted, and a few new avatars. As well, please welcome two new affiliates: Men  In Ties, by Cami, one of my  co-conspirators from design school, and to TreMirie, a really good site done by Marsha. Go check them out!

In other news.....I haven't changed this main site layout for a long time, mostly because when I actually had free time I wanted to focus on making more things, not on an enourmous changeover and code update. I might get a chance to work on that now that things are better, on and off. It's important to update, but its also important to update the sites look, I think. I've got a few ideas - comments, anyone?

Firstly, welcome to a new affiliate, ILumin. Have fun browsing through  the site. =)

....And....well, it looks like my predictions about falling off the face of the net came true, in a way. I've been really busy working on the SOSA site in my spare time, and finishing another project over christmas. I have (slowly) been making a few wallpapers in my spare time along the way, and I've got a half done layout, but I haven't actually uploaded any of them. I should do that. Soon.

Today and yesterday was a whirl of webness – midterms are done and I wanted, or have wanted, to redesign the main layout of finesse for a while. So its going to get a makeover soon – and this time I'm doing a fairly major behind the scenes code restructuring too to go with it, if I can get that part hashed out.

Other things of note – I haven't fallen off the face of the net just quite yet. =) Don't know how much time I'll be getting for this site but the next week or so I'm going to get some stuff done. Possibly a few new graphics or layouts. Mostly, going to restructure the portfolio site. That, and I get to start working on something for the Society of Student Artists, recently restarted at the U of A – a website. Should be fun. Lots of plans for that, because I want it to be the best I can do – its not just my site anymore, its a collection of all of our (SOSA's) art and needs to have some funky stuff in it.

Once I have that done, coded and posted, I'll have a link back here – you'll have to go see it!

Heading back to school tomorrow, like a lot of other people. Kinda looking forwards to it though. I liked my first year of university, and the classes this year sound fun. Printmaking, figurative sculpture, and VCD. Should keep me busy...

I know I don't update my site as often as a lot of people do – it doesn't mean I've lost interest or I'm not around, though. I'm just not able to get as much time as I'd like for it. However...I'm going to start playing with an idea I've had for a long time. I've got a number of friends I know from, so to speak, the real world hosted with me. If anyone else would like to hop on board...I've decided to open it up a bit. Details are here, for hosting. Should be fun! I know that was one of my pet peeves when I had no domain was getting decent hosting. There's a lot of sites that let you sign up for free, but...they weren't that much fun. They didn't even let me do simple php on the one site I had...wasn't fun. (which is why I got this lovely account. =)

Okay: elsewise, I've been a bit lax this summer due to the amount of other things going on. Going to be involved in the artwalk festival this year, with a few friends, and once that's mixed with a lot of work hours, spring session...not a lot of time. I have added a few more things though, mostly a few digital prints. On that subject, though...I'm no longer post ing those here in their entirity. (the new ones are on my deviantart art account though) I think I might move them to a subdomain, like I did with the artwork. They're just a -bit- out of hand, and there's more than enough for a whole website on its own....maybe add in some recent ventures into amuature photography, as well.... we'll see.

Oh yes - and I added more content. Yay!
